From Chapel Hill/Raleigh/Durham (about 20 minutes from town)  From Raleigh it is the second Hwy 54 Exit (273A I think) off I-40 towards Chapel Hill/Carrboro. Come into Chapel Hill and continue on Hwy 54 West and 15-501 South.

When 15-501 South splits off towards Pittsboro stay on Hwy 54 west (towards Graham) past Carrboro Plaza. Go about 5 minutes, you will pass Dodson’s Crossroads (on right), White Cross (on left), and Orange Grove Road (on right).  Just past Piedmont Feed (on right) you will turn left onto Morrow Mill (at Gerry’s Exxon station and country store on corner, this is the second Exxon after Carrboro Plaza)

Go until you see a fork in the road and take the left fork.  Turn right onto Millikan and go down the hill and up the hill (IF you get to the flashing light you passed Millikan, turn around and go back to 3rd road on left).  Turn left on Big Branch Road (1st road on left, gravel, across from big field on right, with green wind mill at end of driveway across the street, also see Redmon Masonry sign on mailbox just beyond Big Branch.), then take an immediate right onto Western Trail (gravel), it is the first house on right.

From Greensboro/Burlington  Take I-40 East to the Chapel Hill exit Hwy 54 East (I think it is exit 148 ?) Take Hwy 54 for about 20 minutes. Until you come to the Exxon station at the corner of Morrow Mill Rd and Hwy. 54. Turn right onto Morrow Mill. You will come to a fork in the road, go left at the fork. Follow this road a little while. I’m guessing 1 1/2 miles.  Turn right onto Millikan Rd. (IF you come to the flashing light you passed it turn around and take the 3rd left). Go down the hill and up the other side of hill. Just past it, turn left on Big Branch Rd. (gravel). If you miss Big Branch, Millikan becomes very curvy right away. Take immediate right onto Western Trail, first house on right, number 1920.

From Pittsboro You can come Hwy 87 and turn right onto Old Greensboro Road.  Cross the Haw River. Shortly thereafter you will come to a flashing yellow light.  Turn left onto Orange Chapel Clover Garden (across from Crawford Dairy, name change). Go to the 3rd road and turn left onto Millikan Rd. (IF you come to the flashing light, you passed it! Turn around and take the 3rd left). Go down the hill and up the other side of hill. Just past it turn left onto Big Branch Rd. (gravel). If you miss Big Branch Millikan becomes very curvy right away. Take immediate right onto Western Trail, first house on right.  OR  Take Hamlet Chapel (Jones Ferry Rd.) to Crawford Dairy/ Take Crawford Dairy to Old Greensboro Road (flashing light). Cross over Old Greensboro Rd. and take the third road on left, Millikan. Go down hill and up hill to first road on left, Big Branch (gravel) and first right Western Trail (gravel). It is the first house on right.
